Raven Storm Terms

Raven Storm ("the Game", "we", "us", or "our") is a multiplayer action game developed and published by MazeStrike. The Game is available on Android via the Google Play Store and on the web.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and MazeStrike regarding your use of the Game. By downloading, installing, creating an account, or playing the Game, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all policies referenced within them.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not install or use the Game, and you should delete your account. If you use the Game, you are confirming that you are at least the minimum age required in your jurisdiction and that you have read and accepted these Terms.

Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account and play the Game.

• Users under 13: You may only play with the express permission of a parent or legal guardian who has read and accepted these Terms on your behalf and who is responsible for your use of the Game.
• Teen accounts (13–17): You may play with the permission of a parent or guardian where local law requires it. We may limit chat and certain features for younger players to protect them.
• Parents and guardians: By allowing a minor to play, you agree to these Terms and confirm you have the authority to do so on the minor's behalf.

Regional Availability

The Game is not available in every country. Access may be blocked in jurisdictions where required by law, where the app stores are unavailable, or where operating the servers would require a license we do not hold. If you access the Game from a restricted region, you do so at your own risk and we may terminate your access without notice.

Raven Storm is a real-time multiplayer arena shooter. Players are placed into rooms of up to 10 players and compete in procedurally generated maze arenas using jetpacks, grenades and a range of weapons, with optional peer-to-peer voice chat.

Account Types

You may play in one of two ways:

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for your account. Keep your login credentials confidential and do not share your account. Activity performed under your account is treated as your activity.
• One person, one account. Creating multiple accounts to inflate leaderboard positions, evade bans, or gain an unfair advantage is a breach of these Terms.
• Accuracy of information. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep it updated.
• Not transferable. Your account is personal to you and may not be sold, traded, lent, or otherwise transferred.
• No guarantee of uptime. Accounts and services may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or security reasons as described in the Disclaimers.

Raven Storm is played by people of many ages and backgrounds in a shared, live space. You are responsible for your own behaviour and for anything done through your account.

You agree NOT to:

• Harass, bully, or threaten anyone — including hateful, racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise discriminatory conduct based on any protected characteristic.
• Use slurs, obscene language, or sexual content, and do not make sexual advances or requests to other players, including minors.
• Impersonate anyone else or falsely claim affiliation with MazeStrike, another player, or any third party.
• Post or share illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's privacy, such as publishing another player's personal information.
• Spam, flood rooms, or disrupt matches for other players, including deliberately abandoning matches to sabotage a team's outcome.
• Record or stream other players for harassment, blackmail, or commercial use without their consent.
• Choose a callsign that is offensive or misleading, infringes someone else's rights, or impersonates an official.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, servers, admin tools, or other users' data.

You agree TO:

• Play honestly and treat other players with respect.
• Report abusive behaviour so that we can act on it.
• Choose a display name you are comfortable being seen publicly.
• Remember that this is entertainment, not a real-world competition.

Raven Storm uses server-authoritative combat — the server decides who was hit and who died. Anything that produces an unfair advantage over other players is prohibited.

Prohibited Practices

• Automation and bots — any script, macro, emulator, or AI that plays for you, with or without human input.
• Memory editing and process injection — modifying game files, client memory, or save data to alter stats or results.
• Exploiting game bugs — intentionally using glitches, duplication bugs, or unintended mechanics to gain an advantage.
• Network manipulation — packet interception, packet spoofing, latency manipulation, or using unauthorised proxies or emulators.
• Third-party software — overlays, aimbots, recoil macros, wallhacks, or any tool that reads or alters game state.
• Rank manipulation — match fixing, boosting, queue manipulation, or deliberately losing to benefit another account.
• Account circumvention — creating new accounts to evade a ban or to reach content or rewards restricted for your current account.

Cheating harms the players who play honestly, corrupts the leaderboard, and puts the sustainability of the Game at risk. Confirmed violations lead to account sanctions, as described in Moderation & Enforcement.

Voice chat is a voluntary, opt-in feature. You may enable or disable your microphone at any time in the game, and we strongly encourage you to keep it off until you understand the rules that apply to live speech.

• Peer-to-peer. Voice audio is transmitted directly between players. You are responsible for what you say and for complying with the Player Conduct rules while your microphone is live.
• No recording without consent. Do not record, capture, or stream other players' voice or likeness without their explicit permission.
• Harassment carries over. Abuse, slurs, threats, sexual content, and doxxing are prohibited in voice chat exactly as they are anywhere else in the Game.
• Parental awareness. Voice chat is not moderated in real time by a human. If you are under 18, use it only with a parent's permission and never speak to strangers in a way that would concern a parent.

Raven Storm may offer in-app purchases. The only purchase currently offered is "Remove Ads", a one-time purchase that removes advertisements for as long as your entitlement remains active on your account. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing via RevenueCat.

Purchase Terms

• You authorise the charge. By tapping a purchase button you confirm that you are the account holder and authorise the price shown in your local currency, including any applicable taxes.
• Platform terms apply. All purchases are finalised under Google Play Terms of Service. Refund requests are handled by the store, not by MazeStrike, except where local consumer law gives you additional rights.
• No cash value. Virtual items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and cannot be traded or transferred between accounts.
• Currency and pricing. Prices may change and are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase. We may correct obvious pricing errors before you complete a transaction.
• Restore purchases. Reinstalling the Game does not remove your entitlement. Use "Restore Purchases" to re-apply it to your account.
• Coupons. Promotional or coupon codes, where offered, are single-use, may have an expiry date, and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.

The free version of Raven Storm is supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob to serve ads, which may include banner, interstitial (full-screen) and rewarded video formats.

• Ads are not endorsements. The presence of an advertisement or a third-party link does not mean MazeStrike endorses the advertiser, the product, or the content.
• Third-party sites have their own terms. If you follow an advertisement to another website or app, you enter someone else's terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for them.
• Remove the ads. Purchasing "Remove Ads" eliminates advertisements from your account for as long as your entitlement remains valid, subject to the purchase terms above.
• Ad blocker issues. Blocking or interfering with ads may limit functionality or prevent rewarded ads from playing properly.

We do not control how advertising partners treat your data. How personal data is handled by advertising is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Our Rights

The Game — including its software, code, design, artwork, 3D models, textures, animation, sound effects, music, names, logos, and trademarks — is owned by MazeStrike and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you.

Limited Licence to You

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. This licence does not include:

• Copying, modifying, adapting, translating, or creating derivative works of the Game.
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Game, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
• Redistributing, reselling, sublicensing, or renting the Game.
• Removing, altering, or obscuring any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notice.
• Using the Game to build or train a competing product, or to develop cheats or exploits.

Your Content

You keep ownership of any content you create and share (for example, your callsign, screenshots, or clips). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Game — for example, displaying leaderboard names and statistics. You can remove your account and its data at any time via Account Deletion.

The Game relies on third-party services to operate. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, which we do not control:

We are not responsible for the content, products, services, or availability of third-party services, and we do not endorse them. If a third-party service causes you harm, your first recourse is with that provider.

We may take action against accounts that breach these Terms. Enforcement is proportionate to the severity and repetition of the violation.

How We Make Decisions

• We review player reports, match logs, and game data. We aim to act on confirmed violations within 48–72 hours.
• We may remove content, restrict features, or take no action where a report is unproven. Not every report results in action.
• Bans apply to the account, and we do not lift bans requested by a banned player or their associates.
• We may suspend an account immediately and without notice where required by law, to protect players, or to investigate a serious incident.
• Decisions are final for in-game standings. If you believe we made an error, contact us and a human will review it.

You Can Leave Anytime

You may stop using the Game at any time. You may also permanently delete your account and all associated data through our Account Deletion page. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

We Can End Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You materially breach these Terms, including the conduct rules in Section 4 or the fair-play rules in Section 5.
• You create a security risk, attack the servers, or interfere with other players.
• You violate applicable law, or are subject to a valid legal order.
• We are required to do so by law, a licence holder, or the app store.
• The Game is discontinued or you no longer meet the eligibility requirements in Section 2.

What Happens to Your Content

• By us: Your career stats, leaderboard entry, and any associated data are removed from the Game. Any virtual items purchased are not refundable except where required by law.
• By you: Deleting your account removes your profile and data in line with the retention periods in our Privacy Policy. Backups may persist for a limited period before being purged.
• At law: We may retain data where retention is required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce these Terms.

The Game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MazeStrike disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• Accuracy of match results, leaderboard data, or statistics.
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Game is multiplayer and network-dependent; connection drops, latency, and matchmaking delays can affect your experience.
• Absolute security. Though we use industry-standard measures, no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
• Fitness for your device or situation. Play in a way that is safe and appropriate — the Game involves fast-paced competitive action.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, civil unrest, epidemic, network or infrastructure failures, government action, or third-party platform outages (including Google Play and AdMob).

Changes to the Game

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature, mode, or part of the Game at any time — including combat balancing, weapons, arenas, modes, and leaderboards. We may also update the client automatically through over-the-air updates. Continued play after a change means you accept it.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Subject to that, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or reputation, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Game.
• We are not liable for losses caused by other players, including their conduct, messages, or voice communications.
• Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Game shall not exceed the greater of USD 20 or the total amount you paid MazeStrike for the Game in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• These limitations apply even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages and even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MazeStrike and its team members, officers, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

• Your breach of these Terms, including the Player Conduct and Fair Play rules.
• Your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Your use of the Game, or any content you submit, in connection with these Terms.
• Any claim brought by or on behalf of another player arising from your conduct.

This obligation survives termination of your access to the Game. If you are a minor, this indemnity applies to your parent or legal guardian who permitted you to play.

We may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the Game, our business, or the law. When we make a material change, we will:

• Update the "Effective Date" shown at the top of this page.
• Display an in-game notice prompting you to review the updated terms before your next match.
• Update the Google Play listing with a link to the current version.
• Record the change in a revision history kept with the published document.

Your continued use of the Game after the effective date of a revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you must stop using the Game and may delete your account.

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where MazeStrike is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you live in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you additionally enjoy the protections of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.

Informal Resolution First

If you have a dispute, please contact us first. Most issues — a refund query, a mistaken ban, a bug — are resolved fastest by talking to us directly.

Arbitration and Class Waiver

• Informal negotiation: We will try to resolve the dispute through good-faith discussion for 30 days before any formal proceedings begin.
• Arbitration: Where permitted by law and unless you have opted out as below, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court. You waive your right to a jury trial.
• Class action waiver: You agree not to participate in class, group, or representative actions. You may opt out of this waiver by emailing us within 30 days of accepting these Terms.
• Arbitration terms: Any arbitration is administered by a recognised alternative dispute resolution provider, conducted individually, in English, and remotely unless the rules require otherwise.

Nothing in this section prevents either of us from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief from a court to protect actual or threatened intellectual property or confidential information.
